Remember, the twelve days of Christmas start on the 25th, so any time between now and January 6th is the Yuletide.

The Pagan Yuletide is the winter equinox and the following eleven days. The twelve days of Christmas go from Christmas to Epiphany (January 6th).

I instated the no pipe or tobacco rule here. At one point I had shelves and drawers full of pipes and usually ones I couldn't see myself smoking much like the dreaded necktie for father's day gift. My wife bought much of my pipe and tobacco supply but now I'd just prefer her to spend the money on herself or the kids.

I didn't get any pipe related Christmas presents this year but I did open a couple of things from the cellar as a treat.

Some 6 year old Sam Gawith FVF, an aged tin of Cornell & Diehl Blockade Runner (never tried it before and I love it) and my last jar of Peterson's Christmas edition 2015 that's flavoured with berry & cognac and is amazing.

Finally came in. Nothing special, a cheap pipe and some good pipe tobaccos. Autumn Evening, Nightcap, NO.759 few others.

I didn’t receive any pipe-related stuff from my family for Christmas (which is totally fine!), but my wife and I did get my father-in-law a Savinelli Mattone 601 and tins of Cult Blood Red Moon and Sutliff Crumble Kake English #1 . It was definitely a welcome surprise!
