I know! I love these old advertisements, reminds me of the show/series - Mad Men. It was certainly a whole different world when they were created. These ads would never work today. If you haven’t watched the show I highly recommend, it was on from 2007-2015.
Wow .. these commercials tell the tale of a bygone era, so distant in the past, but yet so familiar since the pipe opens the door to those times. I am guessing people of all walks of life smoked, young, old, sports players, soldiers, sailors, etc. and the pretty ladies tolerated it as a normal aspect of life. Quite nostalgic I must say ...
That would be nice if today the cookies of our browsers would sent those ads instead of the current trash.?

These next advertisements are from before or around
the turn of the century. Very different from the modern advertisements were used to seeing. During This period, it wasn’t uncommon for ads to not even mention Tobacco and if they did, it was just that....Tobacco. Many works have survived but are unknown because of lack of identification on the work.
