I was unable to muster any outrage over it. Some folks are obviously more sensitive than others and I tend more to the less likely to be bothered end of the spectrum. I understand that not every ad needs to target every individual. I can tell when things are meant to be a joke even if I dont find them funny. Even the length of the commercial wasn't as bad as people made it sound. I guess I'm just lucky like that. :D

In my experience, the type of female that would smoke a pipe generally has a thick skin and it would take a lot more of a nudge to get us to pull up stakes and leave in a huff. While I wasn't in the least amused by the ad, I wasn't mortally offended, either.
I mean come on....you don't really think that pipe smoking is the only 'odd' thing we do, do you? :wink:
We're used to raising eyebrows and being tisked for our odd hobbies and behaviors. ::
