USPS is going through it right now because the current administration wants to privatize it. My order of the beast made it to my regional distribution center about 50 miles from my address but instead of reaching my local post office, it took a vacation in Hawaii for a week. It was ground advantage shipping, too! But it eventually made its way to me about a week delayed.

I’ve had this same issue predominantly with Watch City orders. Living in TN, somehow my orders get routed to Atlanta, back up north to Columbia SC, then to Nashville. I try and not make sense of the postal service.

I can track it all the way around the world, only for the postman to deliver it to the house up the road and I have to go and get it.

Our regular rural carrier is fantastic! If he’s out, though…A few weeks ago we didn’t have mail for days because there are no replacement drivers available and when they pull from other areas the carriers don’t know the routes.

We recently had an eBay order that took over 2 weeks to arrive to NY from TN bc it went to San Diego. Sheesh!

USPS, rarely an issue. UPS, never any issues. FedEx... pray that the package will arrive within the year and that the driver didn't back the truck over it.

I had a recent package go from South Carolina to Memphis to Aurora Colorado. I live in Ohio. Make it make sense.

But I also had a package delivered this week that came from UPS, they said it was delivered but the picture was not my front stoop. Guess their drivers can't be added to check addresses either. I at least was able to get my stuff cause the homeowner was mowing the lawn out front and I just asked. Nice guy, he thought my dog was cute.

I might have the record for most mistaken mileage on a package. I sent it from here in Colorado to my brother in Austria. I guess they didn't bother to look at the international zip code and instead sent it to Australia first, then back to Colorado, then on to my brother. Yikes !

I currently have a parcel from the UK with fedex,tracked to Thessaloniki Greece (I am in Greece).
2 days later shows Kolen Germany,about 1 hour after it shows as arriving in Germany I get a call from fedex Greece about a customs query.I mention the tracking to her and 5 minutes later shows Greece again.
There is no way that parcel went to Germany and back inside 2 hours

Good, a private company will take complaints seriously.
The current USPS just sends you to their complaint department run by Helen Waite.
They tell me to go to Helen Waite all the time.
