Thanks to Edgreen and the other posters in this thread. Most enjoyable. Like many others am drawn to the paintings of peasant life by Steen and Teniers. Can't really put my finger on what makes them so appealing, maybe it the feeling of leisure they exude. Thanks again.

I must admit that I was intrigued by the Svetlana and Igor Kopystiansky video still,

it looks a lot like a BBB pipe and it's laying on the sidewalk next to a clump of unraveled cassette tape,

very mysterious.
Had to look it up.
Found an excerpt,

the pipe shows up at 0:38 seconds...

...one interesting thing to note is that perhaps this short film was the inspiration for the famous "dancing plastic bag" scene in 1999's American Beauty?
The character Ricky Fitts seems to give a nod to it, noting that he filmed the bag for 15 minutes, which was the exact length of the Kopystiansky film...

"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in."
