That's kind of the case not only with opinions but of even studies. Most studies have a purpose and that purpose in and of itself is to see a summary that it seeks to find. That doesn't necessarily make a summary incorrect, but it makes its own self unwilling and unable to make a sound judgement beyond its intention. It is important to keep that into perspective when reading any statistical report.
