HAHA!I find their French shaping boring but I'd buy one of their skulls. I'm mostly veering away from briar though.

Yeah, I remember you posting this one.
Do you know anything about that pipe, Embers?

I like Danish free hands too. I visited Larson and Ann Julie in Compenhagen and admire the fine workmanship and great designs of their work. In fact the most perfect straight grain (and expensive) pipe I ever owned was Danish. The problem is, I've never tried one I thought smoked worth a damn.I default aesthetically to classic English shapes (possibly for nostalgic reasons) -- billiards, dublins, canadians, apples, bulldogs, etc.
I also really like classic (subtle, organic) Danish takes on bent tulips, brandies, etc.
I also like Danish freehands.

He has some cool pipes. I recall not that long ago thinking to myself, "I will only need a few pipes." Now I see all sorts of pipes and think, "Eh, one more couldn't hurt. That one will be relegated to my niche mix that tastes like hubba bubba"Sure have! I've got two of his pipes though I requested less severe stems.

I am partial to bent billiards myself. More the half bent range but have my eye on a full bent.I'm partial to traditional shapes, but I also enjoy Danish styles excepting the more avant-garde freehands. More specifically, I like shapes that are round, plump, and proportion and balance well to a bent stem. As such, I'm partial to billiard, tomato, apple, and brandys. I also have an outsized soft-spot for pokers, despite them being much different than my normal preference.
