possess nine, but I own zero. Allow me to explain...ownership is a hoax, really. The American Indians knew the land couldn't be owned; the best they could do was to possess it. A fundamental (perhaps
the fundamental) principle of law is that you can only own what you create. Possession is nine-tenths of the law, though. Speaking of possession, I'm guessing I don't possess anyone's attention anymore, at this point. It would seem I also possess a keen awareness of the freaking tumbleweeds blowing through and the sounds of chirping crickets. Good backdrop for pipe smoking, though!
