I love that stem too. Fitment looks perfect on it, but I know it would smoke hot for me. Those walls look thinner than Edmonton's goaltending.
The chamber is conical and the outside of the bowl is round, so the thinness "disappears" quickly as you go down.
It's kinda-sorta an optical illusion, in other words.
Dang it! I was going to say something about the bowl. It doesn’t look like there’s enough room for the chamber. Really cool.

Very pleasing proportion.. Bit looks nice. If the size was sufficient I'd ask to fondle it. The bowl description is intriguing. Very nice!
No visible repair was done. Just the tenon replaced because the owner's Doggie el Muy Muchacho Grande knocked it off a table with his tail.
What was done could only be seen with X-ray vision (the tenon was replaced).
Guessing a fix is not the "game"... I'm just curious what people think of the pipe.
