I believe that to.Gimmick
Being oil based, water won't dissolve tar build-up.One of these three should do the trick
water
aqua
hydrogen dioxide
I use moonshine.I always have used vodka to clean out my pipes. I mean, what else is it good for?
Wait, Bacardi stopped making 151? When did this happen? Seriously. It's not a gimmick. I've used it in the past, but not recently.
Mostly, I use Bacardi 151. They don't make it anymore, but I still have some, and there are other brands making equivalents.
Years ago because stupid idiots were setting themselves on fire, and they were tired of the liability for morons.Wait, Bacardi stopped making 151? When did this happen? Seriously.
I didn't doubt you, but looked it up. You were spot on.Years ago because stupid idiots were setting themselves on fire, and they were tired of the liability for morons.
That's why I'm surprised that Everclear is still on the market.Years ago because stupid idiots were setting themselves on fire, and they were tired of the liability for morons.
I agree that alcohol is a good cleaner of oily substances.Being oil based, water won't dissolve tar build-up.
I use moonshine.
uh oh...what's this familiar feeling coming over me? Should I start hoarding Everclear? Is EAD a thing? That's why I'm surprised that Everclear is still on the market.
Actually, alcohol is marginally better than water for oily substances, which is to say, pretty bad. Oils and waxes are totally non-pollar, most lower alcohols (1-3 carbon atoms) are pretty pollar themselves, so they are not very good, but cleaning our pipes with gasoline wouldn’t do for so many reasons, and higher alcohols would leave an awful taste.I agree that alcohol is a good cleaner of oily substances.
For me though, flavour wise. it just kills a briar, leaving it bitter and acrid.
Maybe some don't taste it, but I certainly do.

Really?alcohol removes some of the minerals that make briar so impervious to fire.
