Yeah, old Spock has got to be thinking "Man, I got to get me some of that".
Pipestud is probably right but if it was me I'd just get rid of the pipe.

I use a drill by hand and start with a 5/32 bit. If the pipe is already drilled that wide or wider, then I don't think opening the draft hole will help the pipe.Would be be willing to share a little more detail on how exactly you go about this? Or a link? Do you use a actual drill, just the bit turned by hand or a Dremel? I don't want to ruin this pipe but after 3 more attempts to smoke it in about over this thing.
Couldn't agree more on that pipe. It's one of my favorites.I like semi-churchwardens. A pipe about 7 1/2". If you like cobs try the MM Shire Cobbit. It is a nice size semi-churchwarden with a really great weight and feel in the hand. It has a great draw and is a really good smoker. One of my favorites.
nope. They smoke pretty easy. The only problem I have is at first I subconsciously would smoke harder on one feeling like I had to. They draw a little slower then a shorter pipe. Like a fraction of a second longer before the first bit of smoke hits. Like fraction of a second. From imperceptible from instant to almost instant. Otherwise you can smoke it just like any other pipe. This is one of the reasons I haven't even thought about a churchwarden. Other than travel ability, they just look like they are hard to smoke. Lol
Ahhh, the gentle art of conversation, perfectly demonstrated by our very own @cigrmaster haha.I take it you did not read the instructions. The pipe needs to be shoved up Frodo's ass for it to smoke right.
that won't make it smoke better. It will help you smoke better thoughHold it by the shank, point your favorite .45 at the chamber opening and tell it "smoke! Or meet your maker!"
I think that's second breakfast.I take it you did not read the instructions. The pipe needs to be shoved up Frodo's ass for it to smoke right.
Get an 11/64 drill bit and drill out the existing hole. Don't push very hard when drilling. The bit will likely pull itself into the existing hole. Careful when you reach the bowl so you don't drill into the opposite side of the bowl. Don't ask me how I know this.Would be be willing to share a little more detail on how exactly you go about this?
