Regarding my "dedication", I must note that I owned the ultrasonic cleaner and electrolysis tank prior to dabbling in pipe smoking. I have used what was available to me to maintain my pipe cleaners in satisfactory working order. But I recognize there are more economical methods available. And I would not hesitate to use such methods should my equipment fail me.

I like to clean mine in an ultrasonic cleaner when they get gunked up - and then dry them rapidly before oxidation sets in. If they rust, I run them through my electrolysis tank.

I believe that is what Nikola Tesla did.
