the Prince is Orlik shape 188. The shape stamping on the billiard is preceded with an L, which makes it an Orlik Deluxe, which was their mid line. Stems on those were a mixed bag and could be molded or hand cut on the series. Don't recall any fills on any Deluxes I've owned, and at that time I think stummels needed fills became Royal Sovereigns and Captain Blacks, but the grain is unremarkable on the series.

As Sisyphus says the “L” designated the Orlik De Luxe model. The 56 was the shape number for a medium prince with a quarter bend to the stem.

Could you post a picture or transcription of the COM stamp?
