Very, very difficult question. The problem is really that I like a lot of pipes equally, as well as blends. These combos would be in a virtual tie:
- Michael Morgason pencil-shank billiard with Best Brown Flake
- Peterson virgin rusticated Aran Canadian with Full VA plug
- BST thin-shank Christmas Dublin with shaved St. James Plug
- BST large bent billiard with Sutliff 507-S
Tommaso Spanu canted red Briar, with capstan Navy Cut ready rubbed. That's what I go to to every morning at 11 after coffee. Total bliss

Had you asked a few months ago, i'd have said Frog on a Log in my Stanwell Bordeaux 183 bent brandy.

After much thought. (Not really) The 1 tobacco would be wilke sailor jack ( current favorite). The pipe would be a peterson house pipe, which I can never seem to win at ebay. LOL ?
I didn't know that, and was wondering if any place did that with pipes. A huge thank you.
Time and tastes do change! Two years ago, I would have said Esoterica Penzance is my deserted island tobacco and a Dunhill 6103 Billiard was my pipe. Now I don't care as much about which pipe I smoke as long as it's straight, fits in my chops well, smokes well and is ascetically pleasing to me. I would probably choose GH&Co Dark Birds Eye or Rum Flake for the tobacco.
