Peterson Collection Pipes. Which is your favorite?

Which one is your favorite. If I could ever afford one I think the Mark Twain Collection would be the one for me.

I really like the Dracula pipes - so much so that I bought one this week

The other collection I really like is the return of Sherlock Holmes 7 day set in Meerschaum. Way out of my price range, but I do like them!

Peterson pipes I want, more like which Peterson pipes don't I want lol. I've had my eye out for a rusticated Mark Twain set along with wanting the seven day set of Return of Sherlock Holmes and the Original, Watson, and Baker Street from the original set. I'd love a set of the Iceberg collection and I really like the shapes in the River collection as well.

The pipe that dochudson posted is a real winner. I have two of them and they both smoke very well with the Lat blends. Overall, I think the best Petes are the meerschaums, then the Sherlock Holmes series. The silver spigots are good too. Beware of the budget priced Petes. They can be sloppily made.

I purchased the Dracula 999 from The Backy Shop.

I'll put up a picture when I get sorted.

My pipe came with a pure blood red stem, none of the black detailing on it. I prefer it this way as well.

Beware of the budget priced Petes

I have seen a couple that were poorly drilled. So if you get one try it inspect it in person or stick to a straight pipe.

I'm partial to the Sherlock Holmes series. I currently own The Squire and The Deerstalker models. These iconic pipes are both great smokers with beautiful briar containg no imperfections. They are as good to look at as to smoke. There will be more in my collection!
