My Peterson 313 is a nicely weighted and bent pipe perfect for a walk while clenched.

Has anyone found the Peterson 999 (bent Rhodesian/john bull type) to be a good lunt pipe?

I’ve got enough straight stems for enjoying while seated or stationary.

Depends on the era. Pre-Republic 999's are too chunky for lunting. Modern 999's, longer & skinnier are better suited for lunting.

Note: Tongue in cheek above, I actually don't know what lunting means.... but I'm a 999 fan
☝️☝️☝️This, PR 999’s are shorter and fatter and don’t make great clenchers. They are much thicker in the bite zone. Modern ones are much better clenchers.

I have a 999 Peterson shape pipe, made in the 1920's and still going strong, it is so light, I don't clench but it is so comfy between my teeth, even with a P-Lip, my partner found it in my collection and fell in love with it, had to search for a modern 999 for her, it's great and she loves it but still after my old one. One thing, I love that she loves my tobacco's, makes life perfect.
