Beautiful! I went with a 314 as I have been smoking my smaller pipes lately , but the B42 was what I also had in the cart until at the last minute deciding to 'be reasonable' with the PPN'23 lined up shortly. It was a good decision, but like Dr. Jekyll I find the not so 'reasonable' Mr. Hyde this year influencing my PAD. Go Jekyll!

B42 is my fav shape, but since I already have the Jekyl and Hyde from years back I didn't feel the need. I like last years Halloween pipe better. That's mine from last year.

I tried, I just couldn’t do the glow in the dark safety cone stem.
This is exactly what makes pipes so awesome….variety that suit’s different tastes.
For those curious. My 314 J&H Halloween special did not live up to expectations. There were a couple of minor misses between the 2 stain sections underneath, and a fair sized one on the rim. It's been returned. Still contemplating another shot at the same, but indeed, the "red" is not nearly as pronounced as I would like. And knowing it will darken with time... I'm still on the fence at the moment. Here it was:
Ordered another 314 - odds are the next one will be "gorgeous" since the first was a dud.
The rim defect would have bothered me too on a new pipe. Glad you returned it. Only way they'll know to improve things (possibly, hopefully.)
