Peterson 2023 Halloween Pipes

I'm quite excited about the 2023 Halloween pipes. It's the Jekyll & Hyde series' System version. I've been always eyeing the series since the book is among my favourites, but the vulcanite stems held me back from pulling the trigger. This time I'll definitely take one, but I still can't decide about the shape... Anyway, it's dropping tomorrow: 363. What a cool concept! About a month or so ago, I kinda decided I've spent enough on pipes and blends for the year.

But now I'm second guessing that decision. I'm really digging these designs. I have one Deluxe System Pete. It might be time to add another!

Adding a System pipe to the collection is never a bad idea. At least this is what I keep telling myself.

I might have to invent a new packing method specifically for this pipe; left half a Latakia bend, right half straight Virginia.

She's the best. I was born in Cuba and she was born in Miami. I've always been super protective of her. Her husband is scared of me lol.

Viva cuba! Lol it's hard to find fellow Cubanos anywhere. There is actually 2, including ourselves, Cubano families in our small little Indiana town.

Or the Hyde. That black rustication is awesome. But you are right, the Jekyll side's red-black contrast stain is eye-catching.

to me they are neither one thing or the other.Although these are a little better than the horrible red stems on the normal ones
my money is safe on this one

Wow an acrylic PLip which is a different shape from the vulcanite PLip. I'm not a fan of PLip usually but I wonder if this one is closer to fishtail. I enjoy fishtails more.

The original series has black vulcanite stems. I guess you remember Dracula series, which indeed comes with red stems.

Im glad to see them in a system configuration with better staining.
They look better this time than in the past as the colors appear a slightly different hue.
