I read somewhere that a cigar factory's best rollers are assigned the most difficult shapes, and they take a lot of pride in it.
Having smoked a Padron 1926 in the Perfecto shape last night, I now totally "get" how well a cigar CAN be made.
Absolutely perfect draw, and the ash held the cigar's shape the entire way down. You could even see the pattern of rolled leaves in the burning end that had been cut off (both ends were sealed points).
Two hours and ten minutes of heaven, and no re-lights or "compensation lights" for a crooked burn required at any time.
Next stop: Win the Mega-Millions jackpot and buy a pallet of these things.
