Peck, very nice everything flows together quite well. Did you do the work? If so you have many more skills than I thought. If not no worries, I can't build a box lol. But I can feel you took time and effort to put that barn together. Needless to say but I really like it!
Sable, hmmm I heard your sweet spot may have been used harshly by previous occupants....something about no latrines in the whole place lol! While you spend time there smoking contendly, keep in mind if anyone says "Let them eat cake then" I respectfully submit it is a very good time to leave immediately. Things go poorly after that comment is uttered lol!

Point taken. I should add that I did install thunder cabinets to fix that deficiency. The next project will be to clean out one of the old torture chambers and convert it to a proper tobacco cellar. I just won't feel the set up is truly adequate until I've done that.

These photos made me think of a theme park with a customer base of peck, his family and friends. It's a vacation at home.

Sable, outstanding on the addition of the thunder cabinets! The servents used to complain and complain about the corners lol! I love the torture room idea!! They are below ground, constant temp, and the ambiance ahhhhhh priceless!! I would recommend leaving a Skeleton or two just to keep things feeling homey and correct!!

I have been traveling and not posting, but I must at least comment on how freaking nice everything is. Love to see quality on display. You are blessed to have so nice a space. Good for you.

peck, ok you convinced me, I will start moving my shit to the barn next week, pkease have my room ready. You know you are missing one key ingredient, a pool table and the accoutremonts that goes with it. When you are ready I can hook you up as I still have connections in the industry( I did own my billiard parlor for 20 years).
I definitely recommend an antique Brunswick table, if you cannot get thaat then a Murrey and Sons solid oak table with leather drop packes and the matching tassles ajd of course regulation size, 9' by 4.5'. Only Brunswick Centennial balls along with Dufferin D1300 house cues( Canadian maple of course for the ball bangers). For your own cue I think a Schon highline for around 4 grand will do( that is what I play with and love it), but if you want to go with what I think is the best hitting cue on the planet, I would go for a David Kersenbrock cue where a good one will go for around 10 grand plus. Now if you want flash but not great hitting, you can go for over 50K for a Richard Black cue with gold and diamonds in the inlays, not a big fan of how they hit though. Now of course Simonis 860 foe the felt. Also finding a real pro to cover your table might take some time. For your break/jump cue a McDermott Break/Jump Cue for only a few hundred does just fine, I have one and jumping balls with it is real easy. Remember never break with the cue you shoot with, definitely a no no.
Now you will also need the proper chairs to go with your table, and they should be covered in black or brown or cream leather depending on the color of the leather drop pockets. Masters Green chalk is the only one to use screw blue, it just makes a nasty mess. You will also need a set of pictures from the movie the Hustler to adorn your walls, There is a set of about 7 to 8 pics that properly framed( mine were framed in black adds to any pool room. There are also other things you will need like tip shapers, the best tips, burnishers, 1500 grit sandpaper and other neccessities.
Please make sure that the pool room is ready before I move in, need to start practicing again so I can kick your ass. lol
Seriously, freaking awesome man cave, congrats buddy.

You know I look at these photos and it reminds me of playing football in Junior High School. The big linemen were obviously maturing way before us defensive backs and the awkwardness in the showers at whose was bigger is exactly like my looking at your tobacco enjoyment arrangement. What was the Looney Toons line? "I been sick" is kind of how I feel. Its the penis envy of the tobacco realm!

Beautiful spot, I'd never go to the house.
Me either Jason, got the coffee maker, microwave, and all the pipes and tobacco I could dream of. No need to go anywhere else.

"You guys haven't seen the house"
I have no doubt it is beyond nice just based on the extreme niceness of the "barn." It would be a rare spouse who would allow the house to take a back seat to a "barn."

So now I have seen the mountaintop...and it is good!
Didn't see any wall art or did I miss it? Could use perhaps a portrait of the master himself? Maybe over looking the stately Peck manor in a tasteful smoking jacket with a suit of armor behind him? Damn fine place.

Not much. I need some.
I definitely recommend an antique Brunswick table
Not really a billiards guy. You will note the bubble hockey unit though. Bubble hockey is kind of the Canadian version of billiards.

BWAHAHAH . . . BWAHAHAH . . . did I do the work . . . you slay me, you really do.

Well, Well
All I can say is that I made my wife look over the pictures carefully, and then I told her that's what I want.
She just smiled and said, "yes, dear" with that womanly know it all smirk.
Harris wants to move in, but I'll wait until there are some more comfortable chairs. I like to spread out.
