The hydronic heat in the floor is wonderful, now that they use Pex, and have great heaters/valves/electronics. You can spread out a bear skin rug out, strip down and smoke a nice bowel of Mixture 69.

In fllor heating has its pros and cons. We have in floor heating on all three levels of the house. It is great in the dead of winter and I can control the heat output in many different zones. The issue arises if the weather wildly fluctuates, as it can do during spring and fall. Changing the ambient temperature with in floor heating is a little like turning an oil tanker - it takes some time, which can be a bit frustrating.

Bingo. I have radiant heat in my house I've occupied for exactly one year. On the whole it's da bomb. No dust blowing about, noise of blower or air rushing out of vents. But slooooow to change.
