We have a local hot dog place called The Steamie Weenie that serves a bacon wrapped hot dog with peanut butter and jalapeno jelly. It's fantastic and I treat myself to it about once a month.Peanut butter and horseradish on toast.
These are the Canadians that originally invented it...Just because a Canadian really invented it doesn't mean we can't change history...
Good on noodles hot or cold.Half a cup of peanut butter
a couple of spoonfuls of soy sauce
a dash of rice vinegar
a couple of spoonfulls of brown sugar
a heaping spoonful of chili garlic paste
a squeeze of fresh lime
several cloves of garlic pulverized
a small chunk of fresh ginger pulverized
a few spoonfulls of warm water to your preferred consistency
Makes a great salad dressing or just a dip for veggies or fried chicken tenders.
I am totally ignorant of noodles. I mean, I know how to cook and eat spaghetti and other Italian pastas, but all of the other ones, I just have no idea. I need like a class on them or something, ha ha.Good on noodles hot or cold.
Yes and yes!Y’all are missing the obvious debate here:
Smooth or crunchy?
Almonds aren't nuts, Brazil nuts aren't nuts, cashews aren't nuts..."Some burleys are described as nutty"
Thing is, peanuts ain't nuts, they're legumes, that's peas and beans.
I do love peanut butter mind and can happily sit and dig into a jar with a teaspoon ?
Regards,
Jay.?
Yep, but most of us down here, prefer RC Cola with our salty peanuts. Then you grab a Moon Pie to cut the salty taste.I grew up watching my dad dump Spanish peanuts in his bottle of Pepsi. When the Pepsi was gone he would shake the peanuts out into his mouth and eat them. He grew up in Tennessee, I always thought it was a southern thing.
