We’ll always post the current fees for sending money to friends and family on this page, and we will disclose the fees to you in advance each time you initiate a transaction to send money to a friend or family member. Sending in the U.S.
If you are a U.S. PayPal account holder sending money to a friend or family member with a PayPal account in the U.S., you may pay a fee, depending on how you pay.
Payment method: Fees:
Funded by your PayPal balance or a bank account linked to your PayPal account. Fee is waived.
Funded by a credit card, debit card or PayPal Credit. 2.9% of the amount funded this way, plus a fixed fee (from the table below) based on the currency of the transaction.
It sounds like you need to be a 'verified' user. Until you are verified, you don't have 'full' privileges.Man, now I'm confused. Yes both were in the the US and I am in CO. I used my checking account and the option for FF on PP was there for me to click on. Both times I was charged an extra $1.20
