I think that is a beautiful thing that you did. I love to see that people can still open there hearts in a cut throat age as today. You are def a good man.

Man, That hit home brother. Got me all emotional. My kids have everything and then some, but there was a time when I was in that moms shoes. I still go through these times. I build computers and sell them on ebay and will go for months at a time where I can't get myself or my boys anything. A month ago I was struggling with how I would get my kids school clothes and supplies and one of the other members, who wishes to remain anonymous, sent me socks and underwater for the boys, some assorted school supplies and a 50 dollar gift card to Walmart. That's just the kind of people that are members here... I too try to pay it forward. I give as much as I can. Great post Irish. I bet you were on cloud nine all day. Its way better to give than to receive... Cheers!!!

Really well done Irish... I was that boy once upon a time and I can guarantee you that neither the boy nor his mother will ever forget what you did.

I read this last night and was having a down right shitty day. What you did for that kid brought me out of that funk. That was a very fine thing you did, brother.

Irish, you've changed that kid and his mother in some small way by your actions... You've done a great deal for them and it is a wonderful thing...

Honestly, he'll probably remember that favor, and return it to someone else in need someday. That's a very generous thing. Cheers to ya lad.

Well done!!
You have made a very positive influence by your act of selflessness, not only to the boy, but to many members of this forum as well. A small act of kindess onl your part will surely cascade into many more by others you have influenced today. You have helped make the world just a little bit better of a place to live.
