Congratulations Peck on your new pipe set which will be 3 when you buy the blasted one once it is finished. If those were my pipes they would remain unsmoked since they are too beautiful to smoke. Since you already have enough pipes that you smoke collecting unsmoked pipes going forward is something to consider.
In time if you get another set you could gift them to your children.
I hope you and your family enjoy your vacation in Florida.

Abalone and MOP should be easy with ablom or zip flex. These are strips of abalone or pearl. They work great on guitars. Seems like they would be a snap on a pipe shank.

Brian, I think the plan is to go for a brown stain on the blasted pipe. I agree with you, I think that's what it needs. Thanks for the kind comments. Can't wait to hold all 3 pipes in my hand, lol.
