Parklane Closing? (NY)

An article in the December edition of The Pipe Collector mentioned that Paul Bonacquisti was closing his shop (Parklane). When I was traveling, the New York Thruway that was one of my regular stops and a great shop. Can anyone local confirm this?

Yes, sadly Paul has decided to close Park Lane. It was a great shop for pipe and cigar smokers. Very nicely appointed lounge too.

It felt like he just double the size, but I guess its probably been more than 5 years ago. I wonder where the good looking Italian descent waste disposal rep will go. She held court there!

My goodness that’s sad for pipe smokers.
I bought a lot of tobacco from Paul before NY taxes went bonkers.

He had a few tables at the Richmond show in September and was unloading a load of pipes, mainly Castellos.
