I was reading/watching last night about cube cutting - pretty sold on giving this a go next timeWith most flakes, I cube cut and gravity fill. Plugs, I slice into flake then cube cut when ready to use it.
With rolls or coins , I fold and stuff.
Super dumb question - as a guy who smokes 1-2 times a week - would you just pull some out and let it sit until next time? coming from cigars I have a huge fear of going too dry, but I'm starting to get the feeling there's nearly no such thing as too dry with pipes.Well, you could try drying a few ounces at a time- then you'll be ready to light up with no wait at all!

I don’t smoke as often as many as well and “depends” can be a little vague but if it’s pretty wet I’ll leave it out overnight and if not, maybe an hour or so. I’m banned from the microwave.Super dumb question - as a guy who smokes 1-2 times a week - would you just pull some out and let it sit until next time? coming from cigars I have a huge fear of going too dry, but I'm starting to get the feeling there's nearly no such thing as too dry with pipes.
No, I don't leave it out for "the next time". As important as the initial level of moisture in the tobacco is your RH where you dry it. I used to live near Sacto, and suggest you dry two hours , then check. If ok, jar it up!Super dumb question - as a guy who smokes 1-2 times a week - would you just pull some out and let it sit until next time? coming from cigars I have a huge fear of going too dry, but I'm starting to get the feeling there's nearly no such thing as too dry with pipes.
those are the videos where you say things like this one is good for the whole family mild enough even for a baby but refined enough for Grandpa to continue acting all snobby. They just don't approve of elder abuse in any form even mild teasing.I'm surprised youtube hasn't taken it down. They deleted a few of my videos because of tobacco use.
What makes it funny is that my videos are by link only. You can't find them in recommendation or by searching.those are the videos where you say things like this one is good for the whole family mild enough even for a baby but refined enough for Grandpa to continue acting all snobby. I'd let 4+ ounces dry to the point that you want and then jar it until you are ready to use it.Super dumb question - as a guy who smokes 1-2 times a week - would you just pull some out and let it sit until next time? coming from cigars I have a huge fear of going too dry, but I'm starting to get the feeling there's nearly no such thing as too dry with pipes.
