So, conceding is your response. as I wrote, C 'est la vie. No point in even voting if you live in Chicago I guess.

It’s not just the city. The voters in Illinois just defeated the “Fair Tax” proposal at the polls. The measure was going to result in huge tax increases tied to automatic annual increases. Fortunately people saw through the fairy tale name.

I have a brother there voting with his feet and moving out of state, as are many. Illinois has had its finances out of control for years and shows zero interest in changing its ways.

I'd rather dig my eyeballs out with a spoon than even drive through Chicago

I think I'll stay down south for awhile longer. I feel I'm allergic to Chicago.
