P&C Order Went Just Fine

8 or so days ago ordered a pound of tobacco from P&C which arrived today. No snafus and given shipping delays these days due to Covid, the time in transit was acceptable. I've only ordered from them a handful of times over the years, but, thus far, have never had a problem with them.

I have only ordered from Pipes & Cigars three times and have not had any issues. It has been my experience they they generally stack up the round metal tins and/or square tins and then put them in a bubble wrap bag inside the shipping box. The other cardboard tins (e.g., Seattle Pipe Club) and pouches or boxes (e.g., Carter Hall) just go into the shipping box loose. There has been minimal other packaging materials included. I have had a few minor dents on the bottoms of some over the loose tins, but nothing to cause concern. Overall, I think it's the calculated risk of possible shipping damage and replacement requests - which are likely VERY low overall - versus actual packaging costs and labor.
