Well, I got my tins today and they are a mess

I have also noticed that the packaging from them is very sloppy. The tins are thrown all over the place and the air bags are not even wrapped around my tins. With only one layer of tape barely holding the box closed. Very Sloppy!!

Wow, is that still happening?

I thought that issue was supposed to be resolved.
I haven't bought anything from them in a long time because my last order was in total disarray.

I just received my Pelican not long ago and the tins were pretty dented up. Eight tins not secured to one another in a box that was huge by comparison. One four strip of those airbags but not placed in a way that the airbags would do anything. I still order from them but I fear the day my baccy is damaged in transit. Since that blend was sold out before I received mine, they couldn't replace them even if they wished to and store credit is no substitute for getting that hard to find tin.

Just got in my order for a new Savinelli 122 Spigot. You guys have me worried now about the packaging. I’ve never had problems before so I guess I’ll wait and see.

This 20% off sale was the best thing that could have happened to me. Been pipe smoking 3 weeks now and really enjoying it, the flavour of different blends, etc. I have been able to pack pretty well, and starting to get the hang of sipping, really makes the experience that much better.
I have acquired 200 tins and 6 lbs of bulk for the cellar (prices are not going down), and I bought a Peterson and 3 other pipes in the $69.99-59.99 ranges in various shapes to learn how to break them in and if I mess one up not a huge loss. Now that the sale is no longer on I can't bring myself to pay regular prices anymore, so I joined the C&P double down membership. If I didn't buy the pricier pipes at 20% off I am not going to now, or so I hope until I learn more.

Packing issues have been addressed. I think that some of it may have come from the extra-high volume recently.

Russ, you need to pick up an old hand wrapping machine like I used for sealing the meat I cut when stores started tray display cuts. You could throw a few loops around a group of tins before you ship them. Much like some of the 5? packs that get shipped to you.

That's a good thought. We have some new people working in packing, so they need to be shown how to properly cushion the tins. I apologize for any problems. The supervisor was informed of the issues and he will address this and work with the staff to make sure they understand that what went on is unacceptable. Luckily my c&d 20% off order last week was snafu ed by the post office. I re ordered the tad to end all tads. I've been waiting for this to try the complete mcclellands grand oriental line plus I ordered a bunch of gl pease, rattray and dunhill blends.
