I have a mossberg 500 turkey thug what come with 2 barrels one for birds ans small game the other for rabbits. Might by the henry ar-7 so I have something cheaper to shoot and use for rabbits. All the deer slugs are over a dollar a around because I'm in Ohio where I could shoot a rabbit or a crow with a 30-ⁿ6 but not a deer because the deer is a sacred animal in the eyes of my government

Nope, still no guns. I don't care what your data base says officer, I sold those guns years ago. All private sales? Yup, yup. That's what they were . . . private sales. Nope. Can't remember who to. You can't expect me to remember that far back, not a my age.
And to you officer, have a good day!

We have a few Rugers (SP101, MkII and Single-Six). I used to belong to our local Izaak Walton but let my membership lapse.

Our oldest daughters boyfriend owns one of the large gunshops in WV (at least the Panhandle). He has undeground pistol and rifle ranges so we get to go over and use those occasionally. It's fun to shoot with the wife and daughter. I suspect more handguns are probably in my future....
If you are traveling thru WV on I-81, check him out.

These are from a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time firing a .45 (Colt Gold Cup). She did quite well. (in the pix, she has my SP101)

He promises we can shoot his 1911 Browning on the next trip.

If you are looking for a Gatling Gun, this Colt can be yours for around $60k (I think he actually sold it this week).

It just occurred to me that my phone messed up when typing my last message. Sorry for making a fool of myself it should of said 30-06. Held the zero too long. My cousin got an old British war rifle from his father can't recall the caliber at the moment.... We don't shoot at the indoor range though so with the weather we will have to wait. Anyone else hate this winter vortex?

Finally took the plunge and bought my first 1911, a Remington stainless. They were on sale and Remington still had the $75 rebate, so final cost was only $450. Had a .40 M&P that worked fine, but let's face it, they are nothing to look at. Can't wait to take it out this weekend and run a couple boxes through it.

Yep, another little hobby of mine. I went through the 1911 phase and now I'm somewhat partial to Beretta 92's.
It's funny because when I started the pipe hobby a few months ago and started looking into different brands, I said to myself, "Savinelli is the Kimber of the pipe world." :)

Hate to disagree, but Castello is the Kimber of the pipe world. I have a Barretta and a Sig 9mm. An M9, and an M11, respectively. And I have a Colt Anaconda 4" barrel .44 Mag with 2 speed loaders for when I remember to renew my permit.

I love the 1911 style, but am more attracted the wonder-9s.

Nobody has mentioned the NRA. I'm a Lfe Member. I like revolvers, 1911s, Glocks, and shotguns. My only rifle right now is an M48A Mauser. My first handgun, back in the early 1990s was a 1970s Colt SAA, my second was a Sig P220. I like .45s. Online, I posted in rec.guns at Usenet. I was a SASS member for a while back then and had all the clothes and leather goods, and I camped in a canvas pyramid tent with a Lodge Pole Pine center pole. I reloaded.45 Colt for the SAA and my Marlin lever action. Last year, I got nostalgic and bought an old Savage Fox side-by-side at Cabelas. It's a heavy gun. I like it. As a kid, I went pheasant hunting with Dad carrying a Sears 12 gauge pump. I also had then a Remington .22 bolt action with a detachable magazine. Those two are sadly long gone. I sold them at age 18 when I thought I'd never want them. I'm surprised at the number of gun owners here. I'm happy to see it.

At one time I owned quite a few a S&W Model 57 41 RemMag topped with a Leupold 1.5-5 scope, very accurate hunting firearm and my favorite. I had an every day concealed set of custom 45 ACP one by Les Baer the other a Kimber, sold everything off and put the money in a bow and some antique vintage tackle. All I have left is a first model Harrington Richardson 22 LR with an octagonal barrel.
