Thanks everyone for your Burley suggestions in the past, I've really been enjoying some of them. But as I place another order, I've made the decision to try more of C&D's Burley offerings. Unfortunately, they have so many dang blends and smokingpipes doesn't allow more advanced search options, I can't filter the other blends out. What other C&D Burley blends are there besides:
The Flakes
Pegasus
OJK
Big n Burley
Billy Budd
Redburn

I'm looking for Burley forward blends. Could you fine people name some others? They just have so many blends...

Am I the only one trying Montfort Point Marine? It’s in the mail now and looking forward to it’s arrival. I’m a sucker for good marketing I guess and this one hits home. I am currently enjoying tasting English blends, but this burley has been begging me.
want to try it. I really like Tuskegee Airman that one kicks ass. So I assume all the ones in that line are equally ass kickingly good.

Ah, I have that one on my "to-try" list. I am always on the lookout for stouter Latakia blends and the combination of Latakia and DFK in that one may fit the bill. I hope you will let us (or me) know what you think when you get to try it.

I have really grown to love Burley Flakes #1 and #3. #1 is a bit sharper, primarily dark Burley. Strong and delicious. #3, as @chefmike points out, is much smoother than it should be given its components. But it is also a banger in terms of strength. I've seen a few recent recs for Riverboat Gambler. I have not tried that one yet, despite its delightful name. Is on my list. If you're open to GL Pease blends (same blender and leaf), Barbary Coast is quite nice. C&D also makes a blend for Savinelli called Jupiter. It is similar in components to Red burn, but I think it tastes different, and is in flake form instead of crumble cake.

I didn't love C&D burleys at first, but the more I smoke them, the more essential they become for me.

I’m really new to pipe tobacco. Was never a smoker, but enjoyed chewing tobacco for many years. After a full year + break I began smoking a pipe. All these flavors are so overwhelming since chew is simply flavor added. Which none of them I liked, I grew to exclusively use Copenhagen. So I’m not sure my palate is experienced to give a review on any pipe tobacco yet, but I’ll share my 2 cents. Should be arriving early next week

Haunted Bookshop is my jam. I found C&Ds blending dark burley nice to have, and would mix with their cube cut or d&r two timer. Crooner is another if you are willing to try deer tongue (order in seperate package and smoke in a cob to avoid major ghosting). Epiphany is good too, but I personally preferred Sutliffs revelation match (shout out for their edgeworth rr match too if you haven’t tried it yet).

If you really wanted the full c&d experience you could start comparing their bulk to tin products.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Lol. To me it kinda has a herbal vanilla flavour, like imagine you picked some tarragon from the garden that tasted vanilla like as opposed to artificial vanilla flavour you’d add to food....on a side note. Isn’t artificial vanilla made from beaver junk?

Very close. Powdered beaver's anal glands, actually. Human ingenuity at its finest!
