Such as? I was mainly referring to straight Oriental blends.Same, except those types of blends are pretty hard to come by in the UK.

Sunday Picnic is a fantastic blend you don't see mentioned often.I prefer VaOr without latakia although there are some blends with just enough latakia to make it interesting. My favorites are Ascanian No 1, Bijou and SunBear. C&D Sunday Picnic is also quite good.
It's such an amazing blend that gets hardly any love on the interwebz. I cracked open an 8-year-old tin and it is my 2nd best smoking experience yet.Sunday Picnic is a fantastic blend you don't see mentioned often.
Many favorites are intentionally kept under the radar.an amazing blend that gets hardly any love on the interwebz.
Presbyterian is very nicePresbyterian is my most smoked tobacco, though occasionally another may knock it off its throne
Sutliff TS24 is pretty tasty straight up. It's a blend of Yenidje, Basma, and Samsun varietals. The only two non-latakia Orientals I know of are SG's Sam's Flake (Virginia/Oriental with Tonkin bean topping, not tried it yet) and Germain's Virgnia & Cavendish (Virginia, Cavandish and Oriental), which is pleasant enough but hard to come by.
I think there are a few straight orientals, mainly for mixing, which I've never had a go at, but there aren't many. In the UK it seems latakia stinks up everything in the pipe world.
I found this out after I bought a ton of both blends. Was not happy.Pease Regents Flake and Temple Bar are the same blend, but flake and (soft) plug.
Cairo is a long time favorite as well. It ages phenomenally.
I have discovered Oriental Silk only recently. Outstanding tobacco.Oriental Silk if you want no latakia and currently lovin me some Balkan Sobranie 759 match if you're wanting the latakia.
On my radar, and my shelf, just not sure when they'll opened.I have discovered Oriental Silk only recently. Outstanding tobacco.
Same for Innsmouth, even if different.
A Mary Ann component would be more welcome.Be aware with the Maltese Falcon, there is a ginger component in there.
