I have two #6 Carbones (carbon) that I really like. The 7’s and 8’s are a good size as well.

My dad always carries a tiny little junky folding knife in his pocket so I got him a #4 Inox on its way for Father’s Day!
Opinels are cheap enough to have one of each size. I like the carbone blades. Last I checked Mora was another decent low cost knife.
