I have a 25 year tin of the original PCCA Beacon im going to crack soon. I will report my findings.
I often do a side by side comparison of a fresh tin of something and an aged jar of a couple years. Personally I always prefer the fresh, whether virginia or oriental. Perhaps lat blends do improve though.

Opened a mylar bag of 2004 Raven’s Wing the other day. Doesn’t seem nearly as full as it was when new, but it is immeasurably smooth…

What is the best way to preserve it until it all gets smoked? At the moment I’ve got it in 2oz jars, would mylar be better?
