What am I waiting for, the afterlife? This smells like a Jamaican spiced rum cake. Thank you Pipestud and thank you $100 bill. We all know Virginia like this isn’t produced anymore and you know what I have to say about it? Waaaah😢. There is no equal but there is plenty of other good tobacco to enjoy. I tried to smoke a bowl fresh out of the tin but the great killer of bowls, time, prevented it. I will smoke some in the next day or two and if it tastes “closed”, I’ll wait a week. I do get worried about the shelf life of older blends once opened and jarred. I recently had two blends from 2007 and 2008 go flat in the jar, they have been jarred for 4 months I believe. I think/hope this will hold up longer than that.

i worry about that too. I know pease is on record saying enjoy an aged tobacco quick with friends bc it will decline fast, but ive heard many others say they smoke a bowl of jarred christmas cheer annually and notice no differences. very subjective i guess!!

im a dabbler, so 100 gram tin for me? that lasts a long time. no way i can finish quick

C&D Dreams of Kadath. Been in the cellar about 2 years. This will be my “spooky season” blend. I’m getting a little citrus and blueberry in the tin. On my second bowl. It’s a banger. It’s going to be a good fall blend.

i just tried that for the 1st time. It was really complex. I loved it too. Mine was new, no time. Yours looks divine! in fact, just bought another from nova to sit on.
