It has darkened a bunch, too. It's always striking to hold it up next to my first pictures of the thing.
That looks great. I think they were inspired by the old State Express London Mixture which had a whole oriental leaf laid across the top like that. I have an old empty tin that still has the leaf in it. Cheers.
Drucquer&Sons Levant, my favorite Drucquer blend and one of the best Pease blends. This one is spicy and sweet-a kaleidescope of flavors.
As I was inordinately jealous of all of you who got to enjoy the Chicago show, and as I was passing close to where he lives, @simong and I met up to open some interesting tins, as well as looking at some pipes, catalogues and other bits and pieces (and, of course, have some beers).

Very intrigued by this photo of Levant Mixture. I've never had it but I spot a lot of nice Oriental in that mix so it makes me want to try it as I like Oriental forward Balkans. Have to add it to my next order.
I doubt you will be disappointed if you like a heavy English. This and Charing Cross are my Pease favorites.
The order just arrived. I just opened the Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls. Tin date December 2022.

The DLNR contains only Virginia and perique. It doesn't have Cavendish. And I think it's always been that way.
I think you're right, Davidoff Flake medallions have a Cavendish centre.
