Flavoured with Glenfarclas? Wow, never knew that. Glenfarclas 15 is my favourite whisky, if I’d of known I’d of tried some when it was still around.
Is the whisky flavour quite pronounced still or has it faded?
It has a whisky flavor to it still. It's been more than 10 years since I last had some, so I can't say if it's lost any flavor compared to a fresh tin, but you can still taste the flavoring.

Here's some Golden Glow. A c.2007 pre-portrait tin. (Btw, does anyone know the exact year the portrait logo was introduced?)

Lots of rim corrosion, but the gasket did its job. When pried, I was greeted with a lovely tin-fart followed by the intense aroma of stewed prunes and figs. I'm not getting the usual citrusy tin note of a new, unaged tin.

The entire broken flake surface is coated with micro-crystalline deposits. Nice. Moisture content is medium-high. Drying some now for a bowl later...
