It appears to, but I'll check it in the sunlight later. With a flashlight, I definitely see some sparkle. Plus, it's been almost a month since I cracked the tin and I haven't seen any additional growth. I'm thinking it might be ok.
I was going to say it looks ok to me. I have some cringle flake that scared me when I opened it but after seeing it sparkle in the sunlight and actually viewing the crystal like formations under magnification I was pleased.

I don’t go for automatics often, but there aren’t many aromatic hot pressed flakes on the market. Cobblestone was 40% off, so I snagged five of these along with my brick Va and brick burley purchase. And with this new phone camera, this makes for one sexy tin!

This is an old favorite of mine. How are you liking it?
This is my first time trying this blend. I've had other navy blends before but not with Latakia in the mix. I dried the flake for about 1/2 hour before packing it using the fold and stuff method. To me, the Virginia seems muted while the flavor of Latakia wasn't what I expected perhaps due to the rum topping. This isn't to say that I don't like it; it's different than my expectation which can be a good thing. I need to smoke a few more bowls to get a better appreciation of this blend.
