I've never smoked any McClellands but all of the tin designs really appeal to me. That company seems to really have had a great art direction.

Interesting. And always nice to find something different. I was not aware of this one. Looked it up and find it is an A&C Petersen, no longer in production. As they say, “the only thing new in the world is the history you don’t know”. Enjoy!

So is this sugar crystals or is it mold? It’s granular, and it seems like since it’s only a few months old, it shouldn’t be moldy, but i know C&D has a bit of a rep with mold.

Haven’t tried this blend yet, so not sure how it’s supposed to smell. It doesn’t smell musty or anything, so there’s that I guess.

Today I popped my first tin of Pipe Force Episode III. It weighed more than normal for having a challenge coin so I thought it was going to be tobacco heavy. Nope, it had two coins inside. Maybe even a slight bit lite on tobacco by a gram or two. No big deal. I'm sure the extra coin will find a good home.
