The only ones I really liked were by the dude doing pipe video satire...but I can't remember his name.
I’ve been using matches a lot lately. When I’m in my den I just find them more fun than the lighter. However for me it seems usually to be a 3 match start. 2x chars and 1x true light with a bit of tamping in between. Usually though I am not pre-drying the tobacco unless I know it really needs it.
Never seen that before, I had to stop watching after he said "treat your mouth like a separate breathing organ"!

Seriously, I know it works for Duane, but I couldn't get it either. I had to simplify it for myself by saying, just breath through your nose and don't draw in through the mouth...that's pretty much it for me.
But I'm not coordinated enough to entirely figure out what he's getting at there back when I watched it. But I think I've got a deviated septum or something...that might be why.
Filling your mouth with air without breathing. Much like drawing liquid through a straw.
Actually you do both at the same time but have a continuous draw while breathing in and out.

I have to just sort of let the draw into the mouth happen by itself as I'm nose breathing. If I try to intentionally do it, it doesn't work out well.
I don't claim to know him...and I don't know if he's generally well respected, but I understand he runs some kind of pirate outfit...
I think he meant it as a compliment.
