Welcome from the Pacific NW. I've been a fan of Luminaire for a short while now. Good stuff. If you want something mellow and tasty with a decent room note, maybe give a gentler burley a try like Boswell's Premium Burley. Excellent in a cob. Also, if one is intending on a small selection of pipes, adding an inexpensive meer to the list is a nice option. Good luck on the journey! :)

Welcome from Québec, Canada. Your gurgling Cobbit may well be your tobacco choice or smoking technique. A Churchwarden is probably not an ideal choice for a first pipe. You’ll find much more tobacco and pipe choices if you buy online. I’m a big supporter of b&m stores but I’m not a fan of two hour drives for limited choices.
