Just tried OJK after being a haunted bookshop fiend. It seems to have more Virginia and perique than HB. I actually find this smoother than HB too. I seem to love Bob Runowski blends. Haunted bookshop, Morley’s best, Pegasus, and Bayou morning flake. I’ll have to finish this ounce and decide if I want a full tin or a pound. So far liking it a lot. Fuels my nicotine addiction.

I like HB too but like OJK better.

Old Joe Krantz is great. I have an 8oz tin I need to open. The last time a tin like that was two years old and it exploded when I cracked it. The tobacco flew out like confetti. Boy, was that a good tin.

@brian64 GL Pease Cumberland will be on my next order. If it’s anything like OJK, I will probably like it.
Cumberland is lighter on the Perique for one thing, so I don't smoke it as much as OJK, but it's a great blend and a good change of pace now and then.

The dark fired Kentucky must be a nice component different from OJK. I’ve still never tried a Pease blend so maybe this will be the first one.

@makhorkasmoker Yes! Big ‘n Burley is an excellent blend. I love the white burley in that blend.

I need to get into cellaring. I’m a relatively new smoker though and haven’t had the luxury yet. Except a little orlick, crinkle flake, and dark fire
I had a good experience cellaring OJK for just a year. I humidified it just a bit and pressed it tightly into 2-ounce jars. After aging, the inside of the jar had a most curious aroma of stinky cheese and dried rose petals. (I had thought I had gone completely mad, but others have confirmed this experience.)
