Fascinating observation. My folks and many who went before were held up as "role models." It's these perceptual differences, the environment in which we were raised, which make our species so interesting. I suppose I was lucky to be reared in an atmosphere which included many, many role models from the historical to the next door neighbors. I did/do still notice that all of my early role models were successful in life. Not necessarily financially but, in raising families, working hard and giving back to the community.it wasn't spoken but still clear. Don't be like us.
