Besides Ashton and pre-1960 Dunhill; which pipe makers past or present used oil curing/treatment for their pipes? Thanks
Completely off topic rant / on:Most of the pipe makers who oil cured started with beef tallow, but as with McDonald’s were eventually forced by increasingly health conscious consumers to switch first to vegetable oil and eventually canola. Nowadays the best you can hope for is a fleeting spray of Pam™.
