Awesome! Still looking forward to the day when my cellar is stocked well enough that I just stumble upon a forgotten hidden treasure now and then. Enjoy!
A love those little surprises. I just recently came across a 2012 tin of their 35 year Anniversary blend (the stave aged VA). I still haven’t tried it but after recently opening a tin of Brindle Flake, it’s got me excited about McClelland VA’s again.
Shopping at home. if you buy more than you smoke, there's no telling what you might find. I have some Christmas Cheer and some Navy Cavendish waving to me from the top of my cabinet.
Nice find! I have a few McClelland tins sitting in my cellar. I think I still remember what they are. Need to age longer so they can become a pleasant discovery.
First, you open the tin. Then, you transfer some of what's INSIDE the tin to a pipe bowl. Then, you touch it with a bit of fire while puffing on the pipe's stem.
Not difficult at all. (Though it can be a bit fussy)
Put down that cigar, find a pipe somewhere, and give it a try.
