Yeah, but your pipes are notoriously small, so that’s probably not THAT big of an octopus.

Though they are some of the smaller ones in my collection, those pictured have chambers at just over two inches deep, and the vase weighs twelve pounds.?

I'm surprised you haven't drilled the vase and put a stem in it, then. That's a clincher!

I was actually thinking the design would make a good pipe. I may commission a meerschaum version.

Not his best work though. But, I suspect he could pull off a nice looking pipe with direction for a custom job. Narrow draft holes on his pipes, however, unless he's changed. Doesn't look like it.

I have an eagle claw holding an intricate egg, which smokes great, but you need a narrow pipe cleaner.
