My daughter took these pictures from her upstairs window last night. She lives in St. Albert, Alberta which is more or less a part of Edmonton.
Actually there are southern lights, known as the aurora australis; whereas the northern lights are the aurora borealis.why are there no Southern lights?
Not a good feeling, I take it, and I relate. It portends something, like the title of the famous novel then made movie.Can you imagine what went through the minds of the first people to see that?? Something I've always wanted to see.
Probably because nobody lives in AntarcticaBut that leaves the question, why are there no Southern lights?
