Good to see Vegas not get flustered after going down a goal early, but gaining the lead late in the first, and pressing the attack more in the second. As I said, staying out of the sin bin made a big difference--Oilers were 0 for 2 on the PP.

Kane reminds me a bit of Raffi Torres, sans the headhunting. If VGK can get through this series without losing anyone important, that would be impressive. #91 should be playing with a nerf stick out there...those slashes can hurt!

I am not a fan of how the VGK game descended into thuggery.

I’m all for hard hitting fast hockey, but several players on both teams lost their minds.

What happened was Goon hockey took over.

The refs allowed too many slashes and checks and the game devolved.

Kane should’ve been suspended out of game 3. That obviously didn’t happen.

So liberties were taken.

The question is will Darnell Nurse keep his one game suspension for Instigating.

My opinion. Pietrangelo goes for one. Nurse remains suspended for one.

Hopefully that’ll lower the temperature.

The goonism really ruins the sport, I hate it. But the fans seem to love it. And yes, refs can stop it if they call penalties. The same crap happens in my Mens League hockey games, the refs let it get out of hand..and then things boil over.

NHL XM this am was suggesting they both get a one game suspension. That will stop the end of game thug antics.
