of note: Panthers played a great 1st period. Why? They hit anyone that moved. Then they stopped.

That was a fantastic Game 1. I miss the days when the referees would allow those little scuffles to be handled by the players though. If this sorta play keeps up, I'll take Vegas in 5.

The best goon shot? A VKG player was being held in a neck lock, so Tachuk thought it good sport to smash him in the face.
That was as straight up a goon move as they come. That's why Florida ended up with one ejected and two in the box.
I'm all for settling things with fists, but getting sucker punched while in a choke hold is cheap & dirty. Looking forward to Game 2 this evening.
